Health$hield Healthcare Software

Health$hield is a suite of healthcare software designed to assist employers and risk managers in mitigating fraud, waste, and abuse by providing internal controls to manage and reduce healthcare costs. It is comprised of five services: MyDependent & Subscriber Audit, My Bill Alert, MyPHP, MyPatient Advocate and MyConcierge.

This audit tool decreases costs by identifying ineligible dependents on an organization’s healthcare plan. Our tool is paperless and automated and has provided clients with up to 20% reduction in healthcare costs.

MyBill Alert is a web-based self-audit tool that employees use to track and control healthcare costs, quickly and easily. MyBill Alert is designed to spot overpayments and other errors before they are paid, solving the pay and chase method many organizations are left with following a traditional audit.

MyPHP is a portable personal health record and portfolio. MyPHP allows users to track their health and healthcare finances on one secure device. This unique 256 bit portable encrypted device provides the working tools for employees to advocate for themselves. It includes interactive forms, instruction, and resources.

Presenteeism (sick employees who come to work instead of staying at home) costs $180 billion annually. Absenteeism (when the employee does not report to work) costs $118 billion annually. MyConcierge will give employees the necessary resources to not worry about their health & wellness while at work. MyConcierge is a team of professionals with industry expertise that are available to assist you with any support as you navigate the healthcare system.

MyPatient Advocate is a service for individuals who have found themselves “lost” or “stuck in” the healthcare maze. Our certified patient advocates teach patients how to negotiate bills, resolve medical and billing errors, and research physicians and procedures.
